Day 23 – Don’t Scratch That

Meditate. ✖
Leaving things to “getting around to it,” is clearly not working for me. I’m going to make my meditation practice either the first thing I do when I wake up or the last thing I do before I go to bed.

Exercise. ✅
32 min Cardio Sculpt workout.
1.8 mile walk during lunch.

Write. ✅
I’m starting to feel the itch here and there to go out and play. I want to see friends and socialize, but I don’t think I’m ready to be faced with temptation. Sunday Funday. A Dodgers game. Just a meal. I think I’m starting to miss it. Although I can still remember them in theory, the painful memories of my death like hangovers are starting to fade. It’s funny because I was just thinking how happy I’ve been sans hangovers. That this is my life now – free from the roller coaster of emotional (and chemical) ups and downs. I’m sure this is just the beginning of the struggle. All I can do is take it one day at a time.
